Burtch’s Barn to Table

The Burtch father-son duo came to the Brand It Marketing team when they were ready to start a new business venture. With a food business built on respect, kindness and commitment to excellence, Burtch’s Barn to Table was born; a catering kitchen now housed in their newly renovated barn – hence the name.
The process started with finding a name that fit their personalities, followed by a new logo + brand identity.

Creative direction

We started this project knowing there was an abundance of food trucks in the restaurant industry, which is why it was vital that we created a brand that helped them stand out against the crowd. We kept this brand clean and simple by using black and white.
We designed two different watermark logos that could be used for their food truck menu or catering menu.
Their bold, yet friendly, graphics grab the audience’s attention, but the amazing food and kindness of the owners keep customers hungry for more!

Barn + table + utensils

Together, they create the symbol

We had fun using a table to mimic the barn door. We then replaced the typical rooster weathervane with a “B” paired with a fork and spoon, to be used as a watermark logo for other applications. Add a fun font to match the owners’ positive personality, mix it all together, and you get one appetizing brand identity!
