What to Expect
1-Hour Photoshoot (or longer, if scheduled)
We’ll use this time to capture a variety of shots tailored to your goals—whether personal branding, professional headshots, or marketing content.
Professionally Edited Photos
You’ll receive a curated selection of high-quality, edited images that highlight the best moments and details from your session.
High-Resolution + Web-Optimized Files
All final images will be delivered in both high-resolution (ideal for printing) and web-sized formats (perfect for websites, social media, and digital use).
Preparing for Your Photoshoot
- Prep Your Space
If we’re shooting at your location, please clear any visible clutter—such as shoes, boxes, cords, or personal items—that you don’t want in the frame. Anything left in the shot may require editing, which can add time and cost to your final invoice.
- Hair & Makeup
Arrive camera-ready with hair and makeup done to your preference. The more confident and comfortable you feel in your appearance, the better your photos will turn out.
- Nails Matter
If your hands will be visible, ensure your nails are clean and neatly groomed. A polished look (no need for a professional manicure) goes a long way in elevating the overall photo.
- Wardrobe Tips
- Choose simple, solid-colored, or neutral clothing to keep the focus on you.
- Avoid clothing with distracting patterns, large logos, or excessive accessories.
- Wear something that feels like you—while aligning with your brand or the tone of the shoot.
For Women: Select modest tops and skirts/dresses, especially for professional or company headshots.
For Men: Avoid sweatshirts, shorts and other casual loungewear. We also recommend avoiding wearing a hat, as they often cast shadows and obscure facial features.
If you wear glasses: We’ll work to reduce glare with lighting and angles. If you own non-transitional lenses, please bring them—they’re often better for outdoor photos.
- Empty Your Pockets
Remove phones, keys, wallets, or anything else that might cause bulges or distractions in the final image.
- Bring Branded Items / Products (If Applicable)
For branding or business-related shoots, feel free to bring products, tools of your trade, or any items that represent your business. These will help tell your story visually and authentically.
- Relax and Enjoy
This should be a fun and engaging experience! Don’t worry about being perfect—we’ll guide you through the entire session. Your comfort and personality are what make the photos shine.
A Few Final Questions
To ensure your shoot is customized to your goals, please consider the following:
- Are you representing yourself or your company?
This helps us determine the right tone, posing, and styling. - What are your company’s dress guidelines?
(Uniform, Business Casual, Business Formal?) Dressing appropriately maintains consistency across marketing materials. - How will the photos be used?
Will they be featured on a website, social media, business cards, internal communications, or something else? Knowing this helps us deliver the best formats and frame the right types of shots.
